Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lebanon, TN, for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. In this role, you will oversee and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and practices to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering safety training programs, investigating incidents, coordinating safety audits, and ensuring adherence to occupational health standards.
You will work collaboratively to promote safety awareness and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations. The role will also be involved in annual negotiations for insurance renewal.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Certification:
- COR, NCSO, or CRSP (or working toward) preferred.
- First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and H2S Alive certifications preferred.
- Confined Space Entry and Ground Disturbance Level II certifications are strong assets.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in the hydrovac, oil & gas, or construction industries.
- Proven knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
