Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Work location is Camp Humphreys, Korea.

  • Responsible for providing leadership and technical direction for all IT-related activities.
  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure, overseeing system administration, network operations, and cybersecurity measures; ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity regulations, managing IT budget and resources, and providing expert guidance on emerging technologies.
  • Responsible for leading and mentoring IT contracted personnel, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of IT services across multiple work centers.
  • Manage a multi-site team of IT professionals delivering infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, and help desk services.
  • Coordinate and track IT project life cycles using PMI methodologies, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Conduct cost analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD IM/IT governance models and cybersecurity policies.
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.
  • Evaluate and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.
Qualifications

Shall possess:

1) Ten (10) or more years of experience managing DoD and IT related O&M support with an IT support staff and familiarity with DoD IM/IT governance models2)

Education:

BA/BS in information technology or related discipline3) Certification: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) ITIL V3, CASP+, CCNP4) SECRET Clearance

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be familiar with handling and securing sensitive government data and systems in accordance with DoD and federal policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or cloud-specific (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience supporting DoD contracts or working in defense-related environments.

Work Environment:

  • May require occasional travel between work centers or to client sites.
  • Some after-hours or on-call support may be necessary.
  • Must comply with all DoD and organizational security and training.
  • On-site work in a secure government or contractor facility.
  • Must be able to work in a high-security environment and comply with all relevant security protocols.
