JOB DESCRIPTION:

Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and/or network vendors. Responsible providing technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network. May perform installation, modification and testing of network. Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction. LIASON:
Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involved obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors and 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship or .
• Technical skills and experience related to cloud networking
• Effective interpersonal skills, and strong briefing and writing skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with little supervision
• Hands On
  
  Experience:
  
  Service Now, SCOM, Solarwinds, Zscaler support, Azure Network
• Certification:
  Current Network and ITIL 4 certifications
• Experience with a Federal or Government Agency
