As a Stamping
Press Supervisor you will have a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our stamping and robotic operations, ensuring that production targets are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of stamping and robotic operations in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Accountable for demonstrating leadership skills that foster a culture of safety, quality, and teambuilding for Associates.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Adaptability to changing production demands and priorities.
- Monitor and document Plant metrics as required by Plant Mgt and Corporate.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement accountabilities.
- Commitment to support a collaborative and comprehensive work environment.
- This role reports to the Plant Stamping Manager.
- 4+years’ of experience as Press Supervisor or 7-10 years’ experience as a Press Team Leader in an automotive metal stamping and robotic manufacturing environment. Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Proven track-record of managing a team in a fast-paced automotive production setting.
- Experience with high-strength structural components and precision stamping assemblies.
- Abilities to troubleshoot issues with stamping presses and basic understanding of Tool and Die within an automotive manufacturing stamping and robotic environment.
- Demonstrate consistent leadership abilities to coach, mentor, and challenge Associates to meet goals of safety, quality, and production.
- Experience in training and professional development of Associates.
- Exhibit abilities to implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Background in implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing practices.
- Proficiency with various computer systems (e.g., MSOffice, SAP, QAD, etc.).
