POSITION PURPOSEThe Electrician is responsible for preventive maintenance on buildings, facilities, equipment, fixtures, processes, etc., at an industrial level, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain processes and diagnose, repair and or replace electrical components of machines including but not limited to motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensor and variable speed drives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES- Performs work orders that comply with the maintenance schedule and addresses the plant needs
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of industrial control systems and Programmable Logic Computers Allen Bradley PLC's
- Effectively maintain programming, hardware networking and communication; troubleshoot, determine causes of failure and perform corrective actions; assist on full industrial control system project implementation on both hardware and software problems
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance program
- Support internal projects
- Able to troubleshoot and calibrate the following properly and safely: control panels using relay logic; process control valves; pneumatic control systems
- Able to interface with and troubleshoot the following motor control equipment properly and safely: motor starters, run relays;
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs);
Servo motors and controls;
Device net;
Control net - Able to interface with and troubleshoot PLC's including connecting to the PLC, reading ladder logic, PLC programming, diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce quality materials output that meet product specifications and quality system requirements
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows the Safety Cardinal Rules
- Performs other assignments as directed
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- 4 Years of Industrial Electrical Experience OR Completion of Apprenticeship Program Plus 2 Years of Industrial Electrical Experience OR Completion of Vocational School Industrial Electrical Program Plus 2 Years of Industrial Electrical Experience

LOCATION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSMust be able to work overtime before or after normal starting times and on weekends.
Must be able to work primarily an 12 hour night shift.
Must demonstrate satisfactory performance including good attendance, adherence to company policies and procedures, and each responsibility consistently to retain position or employment.
