Key Tasks- Develop comprehensive manufacturing plans for new products and implement on time and within budget.
- Reach out to and partner with internal and external resources to support manufacturing goals.
- Incorporate Lean manufacturing principles into strategy and processes.
- Understand and effectively use the Permobil ERP system (Dynamics 365).
- Stay current with new technologies and research options for facilities.
- Provide manufacturing input to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities and reviews.
- Review and approve product designs for optimized manufacturability and ease of assembly.
- Translate manufacturing and operational needs into product requirements and subsequent specifications.
- Develop and release process documentation with cross‑functional teams.
- Develop and execute process validation with cross‑functional teams; proactively determine measures and standards of success for project, product, and process quality.
- Lead manufacturing equipment selection process, from design requirements through release to production.
- Lead plant layout and design activities, including material flow, storage, and standard work development.
- Lead technical transfer of new products from R&D to operations.
- Support operations team in creating medical device documentation (technical documentation, standard work, PFEP, etc.).
- Prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced and results‑focused environment.

Your Background- Engineering degree.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and applications.
- Understanding of industry and regulatory requirements such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA Quality System Regulations, and ISO 13485 standards (preferred).
- Experience with manufacturing quality systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing statistics and their application.
