The Assembly Technician works in the hardware department to assemble, inspect, and test products, ensuring they meet established quality and safety standards. This role involves using hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns to install components on toolbox doors and truck bodies while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the hardware department to assemble and complete products according to specifications and production standards.
• Inspect and test finished products to verify they meet quality requirements and performance expectations.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install hinges on toolbox doors with precision and care.
• Operate rivet guns to install panels on truck bodies, ensuring secure and accurate placement.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks while standing, bending, and moving as needed.
• Lift and carry materials and components weighing up to 40+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet production goals.
• Collaborate with team members and support a positive, cooperative work atmosphere.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to support smooth production operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
