Material Handler Forklift
Operate propane or electric forklifts to move steel, aluminum, and components throughout the facility. Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and staging areas. Deliver raw materials to production lines and remove finished or scrap materials as required. Verify materials against work orders, pick lists, or job travelers. Safely stack, store, and organize truck bodies and other materials in designated areas.
Inspect materials and report damage, shortages, or discrepancies. Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Responsibilities
- Operate propane or electric forklifts to move steel, aluminum, and truck body components throughout the facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and staging areas.
- Deliver raw materials to production lines and remove finished or scrap materials as required.
- Verify materials against work orders, pick lists, or job travelers.
- Safely stack, store, and organize truck bodies and other materials in designated areas.
- Inspect materials and report any damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Essential Skills
- Experience in forklift operation.
- Material handling expertise.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks.
- Ability to operate sit down forklifts.
- Experience in unloading, shipping, and receiving.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Sit Down Forklift experience is a must.
- Willingness to clean around the facility.
- Ability to assist other technicians as needed.

Work Environment
The position is in a shop environment. Although the facility is new, bay doors will often be open, making it hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
