Press Brake Operator - 3rd Shift
- Staring at $19 Hourly (Transportation) Job Summary
The press brake operator is responsible for processing quality products safely and efficiently by setting up, operating and performing simple programming of a press brake. Starting at $19 hourly 3rd Shift Differential $1.50.
- 3rd Shift
Hours:
10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.
- Equipment Preparation
:
Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers. - Quality Assurance
:
Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed - Training
:
Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices. - Machine Operation
:
Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data. Communicate decisions made and refer questions to the supervisor as necessary - Operational Maintenance
:
Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Report needed changes - Preventative Maintenance
:
Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures. Report needed changes and repairs - Safety and Cleanliness
:
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Team Collaboration
:
Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results, cooperating with team members, and accepting re-assignments as directed by supervisors - Other Duties
