Georgia-Pacific is hiring an added-capability Production Supervisor at our Lebanon, TN Facility. The Supervisor will use leadership, operations experience, and communication skills to identify and convert change‑improvement opportunities related to people, processes, and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate safety as a value and lead a crew of employees to exceed production expectations for the shift. This role will be a 2nd shift position, and normal hours will be 2 PM – 10 PM (Monday – Friday).

The team in Lebanon, TN specializes in corrugated sheet making. The Lebanon facility is located approximately 35 miles east of downtown Nashville. Lebanon is situated in some of the most beautiful parts of TN, and there is no shortage of activities, whether outdoors or indoors. This position provides opportunities for promotion in Lebanon and many other Georgia‑Pacific and Koch facilities across the country.

- Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes
- Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production
- Ensure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers
- Own the production process and accountability and follow through with the Production, Quality, Shipping, Maintenance teams
- Provide leadership and support across all functions in the facility
- Actively engage in continuous improvement activities and leverage the expertise of capability groups within Georgia‑Pacific
- Experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience managing print, corrugated/converting, or packaging production operations
- Experience with ERP systems
