Janitor - Part Time
This part-time production role focuses on maintaining a clean and controlled cleanroom environment in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). You will perform light cleaning and janitorial tasks that support safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the cleanroom to meet cGMP standards and internal cleanliness requirements.
- Sweep and mop floors, walls, tables, and other surfaces to ensure a sanitary and organized environment.
- Perform routine janitorial-style duties that are light and straightforward while adhering to cleanroom protocols.
- Properly gown up and de-gown for entry and exit from the cleanroom, following all gowning procedures.
- Handle cleaning materials, disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) safely and in accordance with chemical hygiene practices.
- Use hand tools and equipment as needed to complete cleaning and basic production support tasks.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, including data entry or simple documentation related to cleaning and production activities.
- Support general production, assembly line, packaging, and warehouse-related tasks as directed.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with facility standards.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and cleanliness goals.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Comfortable wearing and removing required cleanroom gowning, including gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, and safety glasses.
- Capability to perform janitorial and cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, walls, tables, and other surfaces.
- Experience or comfort with general production, assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move continuously throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to perform frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to occasionally lift and handle up to 40 lbs unassisted.
- Understanding and adherence to PPE requirements and basic chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.
- Basic data entry skills and ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 1 year of production experience (preferred but not required).

This is a Contract position based out of LEBANON, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.28 - $21.28/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
