• Put your safety and the safety of others first.
• Follow written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed by work standard sheets.
• Manually place parts into inventory baskets.
• Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
• Performs first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions and/or as directed by supervisor.
• Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately.
• Labels and/or tags parts and baskets accurately.
• Have punctual and regular attendance.
• Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

Candidates who are most successful in this role have the following:

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• The ability to work with others.
• The ability to stay focused on a task.
• Experience working an on automotive manufacturing facility.
• The ability to lift 30-40 lbs. intermittently.

Preferred experience to be a successful team member:

• 2 or more years experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Regularly meeting hourly or daily production goals.
• Working in a fast paced setting.
• The ability to use small hand tools like a grinder.
