Job Summary

Responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for various patients within the facility. Reports directly to the Clinical Director of the unit. Works in conjunction with other members of nursing service, ancillary services, physicians, patients, and families to ensure quality of care across the continuum. Requires self‑direction and a quality focus. Interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs.
• Analyze comprehensive information relevant to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions.
• Promote health and a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice) – assess and evaluate patients, conduct interviews and examinations, recognize problems and coordinate with primary care provider.
• Patient Education (Novice) – provide patient education.
• Care Planning (Novice) – anticipate resource needs, prioritize tasks, schedule activities, adapt to changes.
• Evidence‑Based Practice (Novice) – search for evidence to answer clinical questions.

• Certification:
  Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Experience:
  
  1+ year relevant nursing experience.
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an approved nursing program.

Nights; 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., 36 hours per week, three 12‑hour shifts.
