Join our team as a Neuro Med Surg RN at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center.

We offer a sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000 for qualified external candidates.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the 33‑bed Neuro‑Surgical Unit, which cares for spinal, neuro, and craniotomy patients. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive care following established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients’ condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation in the medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and act in case of unintended reactions.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
