Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab

Tri Star Health seeks a Registered Nurse for our Inpatient Rehab unit in Nashville, TN. In this role, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based rehab care to patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and complex medical events. You will perform thorough assessments, manage medications, coordinate therapy plans, and educate patients and families for safe discharge. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you'll promote mobility, independence, and safety while practicing in a culture focused on learning, collaboration, and patient-first outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient rehab nursing care for diverse adult populations
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists on care goals
• Educate patients and families on rehab plans, safety, and discharge needs
• Document care, progress, and interventions in the EHR timely and accurately
• Promote mobility, independence, and functional recovery using safe techniques
• Monitor and prevent complications, including falls, skin breakdown, and infections
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
• Uphold patient-first, safety-focused, and evidence-based practice standards
