Quality Assurance Technician
Are you detail-oriented, quality-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Lebanon, TN? We are looking for Quality Assurance Technicians to help ensure products meet company and customer quality standards from production through completion.
Quality Assurance Technician Hours and Compensation
- 1st shifts available with Monday-Friday schedules
- $19.00 - $22.00 an hour, depending on experience
Quality Assurance Technician Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications
- Inspect products for defects, inconsistencies, or other quality issues
- Measure and verify product dimensions using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other inspection equipment
- Complete accurate inspection reports, quality records, and production documentation
- Identify and report quality issues to Production and Management
- Assist with investigating quality concerns and determining potential root causes
- Communicate quality issues and corrective actions to appropriate personnel
- Ensure products are properly labeled, packaged, and meet customer specifications
- Assist with maintaining quality procedures, standards, and documentation
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned
Quality Assurance Technician Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, specifications, and production documentation
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Ability to use measuring and inspection tools
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to identify problems and communicate concerns effectively
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter information
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a production team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift as required in a manufacturing environment
