Location:

Lebanon, TN Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

1st shift 6am to 2:30pm OR 2nd shift 2:30pm to 11pm Wrenches, Wins, and a Solid Paycheck. Maintenance Tech Job. Job Duties

  • Performs routine maintenance on lighting and HVAC systems, and routine preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as table saw, drill press or band saw to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
  • Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structure.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required and six to twelve months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

Ability to lay out projects and fabricate as needed Knowledge in electrical circuits General understanding of electric motors, water pumps, and vacuum pumps Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.

Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift experience Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures. Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment. Must be able to work in an extremely hot factory with steel toe boots
