Forklift Driver - Order Picker

Join Famous Footwear’s Distribution Center in Lebanon, TN as a Forklift Driver – Order Picker on 1st shift. This shift is scheduled for 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

• Assures property safety procedures are followed.
• Assures compliance of company policies at all times.
• Assures maintenance of facilities;
  Housekeeping – 5S.
• Assures high quality standards in performance of operational processes are reached.
• Assures daily operations are completed efficiently with daily goals accomplished.
• Meets or exceeds labor standards/KPIs.
• Physically and systematically processes inventory transactions by case or pair through the facility.
• Performs processing activities as defined by the work instruction by functional area.
• Operates equipment as required by functional work area (e.g., carton erector).
• Works at a steady pace and with a sense of urgency.
• Maintains high attention to detail.
• Packs cartons in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Ensures correct shipping label applied to outbound carton.
• Performs quality assurance activities as required.
• Performs value add activities as required.
• Assists in resolution of operational issues.
• Communicates operational errors to supervisors.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements as best practices.
• Adopts and supports changes in policies and procedures.
• Performs training while also participating in cross‑training activities.
• Maintains equipment and supply stocks.
• Performs 5S audit as requested.
• Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Can learn new order processing technology.
• Assists in other areas of the operation.
• Takes direction and feedback.
• Comprehends and applies work instructions.
• Navigates warehouse on a forklift safely and efficiently to obtain items for customer orders.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years’ warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate an Order Picker.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Experience with Crown equipment is a plus.
• Able to be on feet for the entire shift.
• May be required to work at heights, such as mezzanines, order pickers, and use ladders.
• Willing and able to learn and show proficiency on different types of PIT equipment as business needs dictate.
• Capable of performing basic math.
• Remains calm and effective in high‑pressure situations.
• Willing to work extended hours or days.
