JDC Warehouse Associate

Description

Our JDC Warehouse associates are eligible to receive weekly pay bonuses, employee discounts, student incentive pay, and access to employee gym.

This position is a great fit for anyone who has experience or is interested in logistics and distribution fields. This position will be given thorough hands-on training.

JDC Warehouse associates are expected to participate in the daily activities and operations of the Journeys Distribution Center.

• Stand, bend, stoop, and walk on concrete and grated floors for the entirety of your shift, lift up to 45lbs. and climb stairs.
• Being reliable and consistent with your schedule and work hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Help keep the warehouse clean and safe.
• Utilize a hand-held computer for various functions and departments.
• Perform multiple tasks within the warehouse that could vary daily, weekly and monthly.
• Our shifts are worked indoors in a climate control facility that stays 70 degrees year-round!

• Picking
  - Pickers follow instructions given to them via a handheld scanning computer and go to various "locations" throughout the warehouse to place product into cartons that are then shipped to customers and stores.
• Replenishment
  - Replenishers refill the locations that Pickers take product from, ensuring there is enough product in each "location" to be able to send out every day.
• Receiving
  - The receiving team work together to unload trailers and organize the boxes of product onto pallets.
• Shipping - A shipper's job is to load trailer with product that will be going to our customers and stores.
