Bank Support Worker – Compass Community

Work in a children’s home that makes a positive, lasting difference to children’s lives. This role is ideal for experienced Residential Workers or Youth Workers, as well as those with no previous experience who are looking to build a career in residential care.

• Work closely with children and young people in care, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
• Build positive relationships, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Assist with the care of children and young people, supporting them in all aspects of their lives including activities, hobbies and educational pursuits.
• Create timetables, set boundaries and expectations, ensuring consistency and organisation.

• 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
• Caring, compassionate, and able to build positive relationships.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Can remain calm in challenging situations.

Previous experience is not essential for this role. You will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

• £50 per sleep in.
• Flexible working patterns.
