We’re looking for a talented individual to join our IT Support Team in Ledyard, CT.
This position will be required to work onsite, Monday–Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Resolve end user issues across Windows endpoints, printers, and common business applications; document all work in the ticketing system.
- Administer Active Directory (users, groups, permissions) and assist with Group Policy troubleshooting and onboarding/offboarding.
- Support Microsoft 365 services and users:
Exchange Online (EXO), SharePoint Online, One Drive, and Teams (mail flow, access, sync, and collaboration). - Support Microsoft 365 Security and Endpoint Management, including Intune & Defender ATP.
- Troubleshoot and support network connectivity: switches, VLANs (basic), Wi‑Fi, and VPN access; coordinate changes with senior IT as needed.
- Support modern authentication and identity workflows including MFA troubleshooting and enrollment.
- Support PKI/certificate based authentication including DoD CAC login and certificate troubleshooting.
- Assist with basic VMware vSphere/ESXi administration: VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, patching coordination, and basic performance triage.
- Support server hardware operations including physical system maintenance, Dell Power Edge and iDRAC tasks (as assigned).
- Follow security best practices and contribute to continuous improvements to reliability, documentation, and standard procedures.
- Support full system lifecycle, from imaging, assignment, support/maintenance to disposal.
- 5+ years of IT support experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Associate’s degree in a technology-related field (or equivalent experience).
- CompTIA Security+ (required) or ability to obtain within an 90 probationary period.
- Experience with Active Directory administration, and basic Group Policy familiarity.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (EXO, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (switching/Wi‑Fi/VPN) and troubleshooting methodology.
- Experience with MFA and certificate-based authentication (PKI) including DoD CAC support.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work onsite.
- CompTIA A+
- Azure, Entra, Sentinel, Purview experience
- Experience supporting VMware vSphere/ESXi. Proxmox, Hyper
V or other virtualization. - Familiarity with NIST SP 800171 and/or CMMC (plus).
- Experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, security monitoring, or incident response support (plus).
