An ambitious and independent accountancy practice in West Yorkshire is offering a rare opportunity to join their growing leadership team. The firm is looking for a talented Audit and Accounts Manager to play a key role in shaping their future.
Eligibility:
Must be a UK resident with permanent UK working rights residing within Leeds or surrounding areas. Visa sponsorship not offered for overseas candidates.
- £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- 35 hours per week plus paid overtime
- Flexible working hours (10am – 4pm core hours)
- Based in Bingley – hybrid working (3 days office, 2 from home)
- Ongoing professional development
- Must have accounting practice experience
- Must be UK resident and have unrestricted right to work in the UK
We’re searching for an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager, or a rising Audit Senior ready to step into a management role. As a qualified manager, you’ll be entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. This includes a 50/50 audit and non-audit split with a strong advisory element, offering variety and challenge each day.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
- Undertaking audit and accounts assignments to the highest standards.
- Managing, developing, and inspiring a highly capable team of seniors and junior team members.
- Reviewing and finalising high‑quality audit and accounts work.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and adding value.
- Contributing to strategic firm initiatives and process improvements.
- Supporting directors with special projects and advisory assignments.
- Managing work in progress and billing, including agreement of fees.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in audit and accounts
. - ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Previous management experience preferred; strong seniors ready to step up will also be considered.
- Technically strong with excellent knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A client‑first and pro‑active way of working.
- Full UK driving licence.
