Architectural Technician

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading developer and contractor specialising in purpose-built residential care facilities to recruit an Architectural Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and quality. Working within the Pre-Construction Technical Design team, you will support the development and coordination of design information from early feasibility stages through to planning approval and construction.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high technical standard.

• Assist in the development of design proposals from initial feasibility through to planning submission
• Produce high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and presentation materials
• Coordinate with external consultants to support successful planning approvals
• Support the technical handover of designs to internal departments and site teams
• Provide ongoing technical support to construction teams throughout project delivery
• Prepare visualisations and presentation drawings for planning applications
• Work alongside internal teams, including legal, on technical aspects of project documentation
• Ensure all design work complies with current building regulations and technical standards

• Experience producing detailed technical drawings and construction information
• Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and technical standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up and/or Revit
• Good visualisation and presentation skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team

• Competitive salary between £35,000 – £37,000
