Lecturer in Psychology and Education

We are seeking an inspirational Lecturer in Psychology and Education to join the Interdisciplinary Studies department, which hosts the Carnegie School of Education’s non‑QTS programmes. Successful candidates will be required to teach across both undergraduate and postgraduate provision and contribute to our growing research culture and extensive regional partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Engage students and staff through inclusive and innovative pedagogy.
• Conduct applied psychological research that informs education practice.
• Develop and foster partnerships with schools and community organisations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment design.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Academic background in psychology, applied within educational settings.
• Master’s degree (or professional equivalent) and strong research record.
• Passion for inclusive education and values‑based teaching.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
