This role offers an outstanding opportunity to join a prominent regional mid‑tier practice in Leeds as an Audit & Accounts Audit Director or Partner (Responsible Individual – RI). The Leeds office is conveniently located for professionals commuting from regions across Yorkshire including York, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Shipley, and Wetherby.

• Manage a substantial portfolio of large, technically intricate SMEs and OMBs across diverse industry sectors.
• Oversee the entire audit process, including budgeting and adherence to timelines.
• Strategically plan staff assignments, ensuring appropriate technical expertise and scheduling for client engagements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of accounts and other deliverables prepared by Managers and team members.
• Support Managers in providing constructive feedback and conducting performance appraisals.
• Handle corporate clients beyond audit thresholds, managing complex issues such as cash flow forecasting and management accounts.
• Collaborate closely with the internal tax department on tax computations and corporation tax matters.
• Assist partners & directors with various ad hoc projects, including corporate finance initiatives such as due diligence and MBOs.
• Engage in business development activities to attract new audit and non‑audit clients through proactive client management and participation in pitching processes.

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified.
• Preferably holds Responsible Individual (RI) status.
• Up‑to‑date expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act legislation.
