Key Responsibilities
- Support the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments, including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance and alerts; identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues such as outages, latency, and connectivity disruptions.
- Perform firmware updates, patching, and assist with change management procedures across network devices.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on‑premises systems and cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
Full‑time position. Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours support. Participation in an on‑call rotation for network support and incident response.
Work Environment- Office‑based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs.
- Collaborative team setting within the Tech Ops/IT department.
- Fast‑paced environment supporting a multi‑site enterprise network infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent hands‑on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education.
- 1‑3 years of experience in a network support, IT support, or similar technical role.
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS.
- Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Experience with network monitoring tools, documentation practices, and basic troubleshooting methodologies.
- Eager to learn with a strong sense of curiosity about systems and networking.
- Hands‑on and proactive, with a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Detail‑oriented and disciplined in following processes and maintaining documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions.
- Reliable team player with clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Pay rate: $85,000.
- Paid Time Off:
Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year; two weeks of vacation plus one week of PTO accrued upon first anniversary. - Health & Insurance:
