Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company that provides procurement and supply chain services across public and private sector projects. The role is based in the UK and supports the growing Contract Services team.

• Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
• Manage and collaborate with a team on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
• Support clients in post-contract contract management of major projects.
• Support the development and delivery of T&T procurement services.
• Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
• Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets.
• Support bid preparation and proposal documentation to enhance the Contract Services team’s capability.

• Experience leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment.
• Strong background in tender preparation, processes and development of key documents in relevant sectors.
• Experience in supplier engagement, including market engagement through to contract award.
• Cross‑sector experience with Utilities/Defence and Security/Public Contract Regulations or equivalent, and ability to develop procurement strategies.
• Experience using standard model contract approaches, particularly NEC
  4.
• Experience in Alliancing / Partnership contract arrangements.
• Experience in post‑contract contract management, advising on commercial and contractual matters, especially under NEC
  4.
• Working towards or holding MCIPs accreditation.
• Preferably a degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
• Preferably experience working in the Defence and/or Infrastructure sectors.
• Ideally hold a Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or could be reinstated.
• Ability to develop supply‑chain intelligence strategies.
• Understanding of commercial principles and modelling and experience in developing commercial models of varying complexity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptable, taking personal responsibility to succeed the right way.
• Confident, independent, able to work with autonomy without supervision.
• Able to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate and develop/manage a team to achieve desired outcomes.

• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.
