Patternmaker Apprentice 1st Shift

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Patternmaker Apprentice 1st Shift to join their team. As a Patternmaker Apprentice 1st Shift, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the pattern making and foundry operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour*
* ** Shift:
** First Shift - 4am-2:30pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Participate in a comprehensive three-year apprenticeship program focused on pattern making and foundry tooling design and construction.

+ Gain hands-on experience working with green sand-casting operations, shadowing experienced pattern makers.

+ Learn programming, setup, and operation of CNC machining equipment.

+ Engage in 3D scanning and printing activities to develop modern manufacturing skills.

+ Complete in-house, online, and offsite training including community college courses to build foundational skills.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma with a minimum of 80% score on skills assessment or equivalent certification.

+ Machine Tool Technology Certificate or current enrollment in such a program is preferred.

+ Demonstrated interest or background in manual or CNC machining.

+ Ability to pass a drug test and background check as part of the onboarding process.

+ Strong motivation to learn and develop new technical skills in a manufacturing environment.
