We are seeking a reliable and proactive CCTV Operator to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC). In this role, you will be responsible for remotely monitoring and responding to incidents across the Pure Gym estate, including sites in the UK, USA, and Switzerland.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the safety and security of members, staff, and property at all times. This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong attention to detail, sound decision‑making, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents in both staffed and unstaffed environments.
Shift patterns will include four shifts on and four shifts off, working both day shifts (8am – 8pm) and night shifts (8pm – 8am).
Key duties will include- Emergency Response:
Monitor fire alarms, follow evacuation procedures, respond to emergencies such as serious injuries, anti‑social behaviour, floods and leaks, loss of communication with clubs, lift/pod entrapment, equipment or system failures; monitor live CCTV feeds, manage incidents across staffed and unmanned sites, respond to alarms and alerts appropriately, liaise and escalates incidents when required. - Thief Prevention & Investigation:
Identify and respond to theft incidents within clubs, support investigations through CCTV review, maintain accurate incident reports and logs.
Our successful candidate will have experience in CCTV/Security and understand why it’s so important and what type of work will be required of them. They’ll also need to have:
- A sound understanding of IT systems and the ability to follow process
- The ability to manage numerous projects whilst remaining calm
- A can‑do attitude that recognises the position within the team as a support function
- A true passion for CCTV & supporting functions
- The ability to communicate to colleagues and members in a professional and positive manner
- Exceptional time management skills
- A trouble‑shooter mindset with a solution‑oriented approach
- The ability to bring the Pure Gym values to life
