Overview
To strengthen AND's position as a leader in the data industry, we are seeking a Data Principal (hands‑on Architect) to lead the local Data & AI Practice and expand our Data capability. This pivotal role supporting the local club leadership requires a balance of leading on client, leading the data practice proposition in the local market and building upon our existing data skills and capability from your experience.
You will be working closely with AND's global data practice team, your practice team and local leadership to drive growth and value for our clients deepening our client partnerships.

- Lead the local Data & AI Practice, driving growth and value for clients across the local market.
- Manage and inspire teams, navigating enterprise‑scale problem solving and turning challenges into opportunities.
- Serve as a master of client‑facing delivery, translating complex data concepts into business value and managing multi‑vendor environments with a focus on long‑term partnership.
- Design scalable, extensible, and purpose‑driven data architectures and systems that meet evolving business and user needs.
- Champion a culture of quality and performance, ensuring data programs are robust, reliable, and respected.
- Champion industry standards and maintain a partnership focus with technology partners, both established and new.
- Maintain technical depth, guiding teams through the full Data Product Lifecycle and leveraging modern data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS native services, Snowflake, Databricks or Fabric.
- Build Data Products ensuring discoverability, addressability, and security by design.
- Lead development of AI solutions in modern data platforms, including LLM foundational models, Human‑in‑the‑Loop, and MLOps.
- Apply data architecture design patterns such as RAG, Serverless, DWH, Data Mesh, and Data Products.
- Speak the language of data fluently – Python, R, SQL – and provide hands‑on solutions when required.
