HGV Class 1 Driver Cover; Zero

With a growing workload and being awarded new contracts, we are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers (Cover) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations in a safe and timely manner.

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport goods using a Class 1 vehicle
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure for transportation
• Perform routine vehicle daily walk around checks
• Communicate with the Transport Office to update on delivery status
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle daily walk around checks

• Hold a valid CPC card and Digi card
• A minimum of 1 year of commercial driving (6 months on UK roads)
• A minimum of 2 years driving a goods vehicle
• Must have the "can do" attitude
• Flexible approach to work
• Be able to do occasional Saturday & Sunday work upon request
• Fantastic Health & Safety standards
• Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy
• An excellent customer facing and communicational skills

Newly passed candidates will be considered for this role, depending on experience and they must pass a driving assessment.

No more than 6 points on your licence. Any applicants with a DR, DD and IN offences will not be considered for this role.
