Early Years Practitioner – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different early years environments. You will be supporting children in Bicester and the surrounding areas, helping them learn, play, and thrive in nurturing and engaging settings.

• Support the planning and delivery of stimulating, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Assist with the care, supervision, and well‑being of children aged 0–5
• Help create safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich learning environments
• Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Contribute to observations and maintain learning records when required
• Support children with personal care needs where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with early years teams and contribute to daily routines during longer‑term placements

• Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with children
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable across various routines, environments, and age groups
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willingness to undertake relevant early years training and ongoing development
