We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to join us at Connex Education.

• Planning sessions to meet the needs of the young person, linked to EHCP objectives, delivering learning through play and planning multi-sensory activities to meet the needs of each pupil
• Reporting on pupil progress and attendance.
• Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.

• A clear vision and understanding of the requirements of pupils with special educational needs.
• Experience of working with pupils with severe learning difficulties.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
• Ability to work with parents/carers
• Personal resilience

• Experience working as SEN tutor/teacher, in a home or school
• QTS
• Experience of planning sessions for pupils who are accessing an alternate curriculum
• Evidence of training specifically relating to pupils with SLD
• Experience of, or willing to be trained in, ‘intensive interaction’ techniques
