Assistant Catering Manager - Monday to Friday, daytime hours - £34,000

We're recruiting an Assistant Catering Manager to join a large-scale operation in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior supervisory role within a busy Contract Catering environment, supporting the General Manager across multiple outlets within a corporate office building.

You'll help manage a staff restaurant, coffee shop, and vending machines.

Key Responsibilities:

As Assistant Catering Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of multiple food service areas while leading a sizeable team.

Manage a large team of Catering Assistants across a staff restaurant, coffee shop and 30+ vending machines
Support and report directly to the General Manager
Ensure high standards of food service and customer satisfaction
Oversee staffing levels, rotas and daily operations
Maintain compliance with food safety and company standards

What we're looking for:

To succeed as Assistant Catering Manager, you'll need experience in a similar environment and confidence managing teams.

Previous Contract Catering experience
Background in staff restaurants, conference centres, schools, universities or similar
Proven experience supervising or managing a large team
Strong organisational and communication skills
A hands-on approach with a positive leadership style
