The Senior Ecologist role will involve:

Managing ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
Leading protected species and habitat projects
Supporting project management and mentoring junior staff
Liaising with clients, stakeholders and planning authorities
Delivering mitigation and biodiversity strategies across varied developments

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Senior Ecologist within consultancy
Degree in Ecology or closely related discipline
Strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation and survey methods
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
Full right to work in the UK
CIEEM membership preferred
Protected species licences highly advantageous
