An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Ecologist to join a leading UK environmental consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering ecological and environmental services across major infrastructure, utilities and development projects. Based near Leeds, this growing consultancy works with both public and private sector clients nationwide.

• Managing ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
• Leading protected species and habitat projects
• Supporting project management and mentoring junior staff
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and planning authorities

• Previous experience working as a Senior Ecologist within consultancy
• Degree in Ecology or closely related discipline
• Strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation and survey methods
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
• Full right to work in the UK
• CIEEM membership preferred
• Protected species licences highly advantageous
• Must live in or within commuting distance of Leeds
