Science Technician Academy

We are working with a flagship academy in Leeds seeking a meticulous Science Technician for September start. This is a full-time, permanent role within a flourishing and technology-rich Science department.

• Lab Preparation: Set up equipment and chemical solutions for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics with total precision.
• Health & Safety: Maintain all specialist equipment and ensure strict adherence to CLEAPSS health and safety guidelines.
• Technical Support: Assist teaching staff during practical demonstrations, ensuring experiments run smoothly and safely.
• Stock Management: Manage the inventory of chemicals and glassware, ensuring zero learning time is lost due to resource shortages.
