Senior Ecologist – Leeds
Location:
Leeds
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000
We are seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join our new office-based team in Leeds. The role involves conducting protected species surveys and working closely with the ecology team on a variety of projects across Yorkshire.
Position Overview- Undertake protected species surveys
- Produce technical reports (PEA, PRA, BNG, protected species reports, etc.)
- Manage small‑to‑medium sized projects, with support from senior management
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related field
- Full UK driving licence
- Preference for Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) membership
- Competitive salary £38,000 – £45,000, depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; option to buy additional days
