Whyyou should join our Team
The Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine Research Team offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, ambitious and growing research service. Our portfolio has expanded significantly, and we are a leading site for a multicentre disease progression study, alongside 11 open studies and several in set-up, including five investigator-initiated projects. We have a strong track record of recruiting and retaining participants in high-quality research and work collaboratively with Principal Investigators, multidisciplinary teams, national research networks, academic partners, pharmaceutical companies and commercial sponsors.
As a Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will coordinate a diverse portfolio of observational, interventional and IMP studies from set-up to closure, supporting timelines, budgets, governance and high-quality study delivery. The Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine Research Team is a compassionate, supportive and collaborative team where patient care, research and innovation go hand in hand. We value professionalism, integrity, teamwork and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop specialist research skills, contribute ideas and make a meaningful difference to patient care.
Our work is underpinned by the Leeds Way values:

The role requires an organised approach, willingness to learn, dedication, attention to detail and an honest and open approach to all working relationships.
You will demonstrate sound judgement, accountability and initiative, maintaining high standards of research governance, data quality, participant safety and regulatory compliance. You will work collaboratively with Principal Investigators, research and multidisciplinary teams, industry and academic partners, research networks and participating organisations, attending regional and national meetings as required.
