AV Engineer Reading (Field Based)

£30,000 - £40,000

08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday

To install and service AV systems within corporate and hospitality environments.

• Carry out the installation of AV hardware including control systems, projectors, screens, cabling, cameras, microphones and speakers within corporate and hospitality sites.
• Build AV racks to a high standard.
• Attend service & maintenance visits where required.
• Carry out the configuration of audio DSPs and control systems (training can be provided).
• Carry out firmware updates and upload prewritten programme files to control systems.
• Provide necessary product training to clients and handover once completed.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

• Minimum of 1 year AV installation experience.
• Knowledge of control systems and DSPs (Extron, Biamp, QSYS, Crestron, etc).
• The ability to pass security vetting / DBS checks.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home where required.
• Full UK driving licence.

• CTS certification
• Manufacturer certifications with Extron, Biamp, QSYS, Crestron, Dante

• Salary: £30K - £40K
