HGV Fitter – Join to apply for the role at FM Conway Ltd

FM Conway is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop division based out of our Heathrow depot. You will work on a wide range of commercial vehicles, maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV transport to a high standard. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

• Maintain our fleet of HGV & LGV vehicles.
• Complete paperwork following any maintenance activities.
• Work as part of a team or remotely and adapt your skills to other areas when required.
• Work safely in compliance with risk assessments and method statements, and be willing to challenge any unsafe practices.

• Experience in commercial vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City and Guilds 1, 2 and 3 or an equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics.
• Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems is desirable.
