Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position for Fire Extinguisher Engineer.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer (BAFE Certified) who is looking for the opportunity to be trained on fire alarms and emergency lighting.

Salary £30K - £32K Basic + Bonus + Coimmission + OT + Van OTE £42K - £44K

• Operate as a field service engineer responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Yorkshire and East Yorkshire areas.
• Testing, inspection, servicing and repair of fire extinguishers in accordance with BS5306.
• Install and commission new extinguishers & compliant signage.
• Replace fault devices.
• Accurately complete reports and documentation.
• Upsell and cross‑sell Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
• Schedule your own works daily/weekly.

• At least two years experience as a Fire Extinguisher engineer.
• BAFE certification.
• UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Interest in training and upskilling to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer (full training provided by the client).
