We’re looking for passionate, qualified electricians in the Leeds area to join our brilliant team!
As an Electrician at Yorkshire Housing, you’ll get:
- £40,057.61 per year for 37.5 hours per week
- On call rota paying £286.65 per week plus call out and overtime opportunities

Our service doesn’t stop once the keys are in the door, and as an Electrician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our tenants feel safe, valued and proud to live in a YH home from day one.

- You’ll undertake all electrical work streams, including electrical repairs and alterations to existing fittings and fixtures, rewiring partial or full properties, inspection, testing and provision of certification and reporting on the condition of electrical components and equipment.
- Planned installs such as lighting upgrades and heating upgrades.
- Work in both empty and occupied properties.
- Use your own personal initiative, problem‑solve smaller issues on‑site, and act as a key player in a larger team.
- Work closely with other trades, administrators and suppliers.
- Act as the face of Yorkshire Housing to many of our tenants, using respectful, warm and professional communication.
- City & Guilds Level3 (or recognised equivalent qualification)
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
- NVQ in Electro Technical Services & AM2 Certification
- 2391-51 Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Level3 (or recognised equivalent or greater qualification)
- Valid UK driving licence
This is a mobile role, so you will be travelling around Yorkshire and will be allocated work locations based around your home location.
