HGV Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, professional, and friendly workshop team based in Nuneaton. This role would suit a skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on HGV vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Complete vehicle inspections and identify potential issues Use diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectively Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, and brakes Order parts and materials as required Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised Requirements Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, or PSV Technician Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good knowledge of HGV systems and vehicle maintenance Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent Time served technicians will also be considered What’s On Offer £52,000 a year (for a basic of 40.25 hours per week) Overtime paid at time and a half Extremely generous holiday entitlement 4 on 4 off shift pattern 07.00 start time Permanent Friendly and supportive environment If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking to secure a permanent role with excellent rates of pay and perks apply today.
