Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We’re currently looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and respected building services provider at a prestigious high-end residential development in Wandsworth. This privately owned company is known for investing in its people and offering long-term career development within a supportive team environment. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a team of four engineers on-site, where you’ll be responsible for maintaining the building’s landlord areas and supporting the smooth operation of luxury residential facilities.

The role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks Diagnosing faults and completing electrical repairs and installations Working with single-phase and three-phase systems Maintaining emergency lighting and fire alarm systems Operating and monitoring BMS (Building Management Systems) Servicing equipment including AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRF systems, and generators Maintaining pumps, motors, pressurisation units, booster sets, and supporting water treatment tasks (testing, dosing, inspections) Keeping accurate site records, including logbooks and compliance documentation Overseeing specialist contractors on-site and supporting audits and quotations Delivering a high level of service to residents, clients, and managing agents Requirements:
City & Guilds or NVQ Level qualification in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) Apprenticeship background (preferred)

Experience with in building services maintenance, ideally in high-end residential or commercial environments Strong electrical fault-finding skills with a good understanding of HVAC systems Confident communication and client-facing abilities A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail What’s on
