Joiner, Installation Technician

A leading fire protection company is looking to recruit 4 experienced Joiners / Carpenters / Fire Door Installation Engineers to help with a prestigious 3-4 month contract.

You will be responsible for carrying out fire door installations within a team of joiners across a large commercial site in Leeds. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards while maintaining full compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry best practices.

• Complete fire door installation work
• Install fire door hardware, including hinges, locks, closers, seals, and ironmongery
• Ensure all fire door works comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
• Accurately record completed actions
• Work independently and as part of a wider team
• Liaise with management and clients to provide updates on project progress
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

• Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial work
• Strong knowledge of joinery, fire door regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards
• Excellent joinery carpentry skills and attention to detail
• NVQ Level 3 in Joinery / Carpentry or equivalent qualification
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must have own tools
• CSCS Card required

• £17/hr PAYE
• £22/hr CIS / UTR / Ltd. / Umbrella
