Fire and Security Service & Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and commissioning across a range of fire and electronic security systems
• Diagnose faults and restore systems to full working order efficiently
• Support the installation, configuration and testing of fire alarm systems where required
• Deliver high-quality workmanship while ensuring customer expectations are met on every visit
• Maintain accurate digital records and service documentation following each job
• Work in line with current health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Provide professional customer support and technical advice when required
• Take part in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota

• Strong background working with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
• Experience with a variety of industry-leading manufacturers and integrated security platforms
• Good understanding of networking principles and associated technologies is advantageous
• Previous experience commissioning and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems
• Gent product knowledge or willingness to complete manufacturer training
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a customer-focused approach
• Motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
• Keen to develop technical knowledge through ongoing training
