We're Hiring:
Structured Cabling Engineer
We're looking for a competent Structured Cabling Engineer to join our team, installing structured cabling within residential living spaces across our Yorkshire and Humber area.
What you'll be doing:- Running cable from the cabinet to access points serving individual flats, through false ceilings and risers.
- Terminating CAT6 cable into RJ45 modular connectors and terminating into patch panels.
- Installing and positioning Wi‑Fi access points.
- Cabinet equipment installation, working with the client to make the cab live.
- Testing and certifying cabling using a Fluke tester, and drawing up as-built plans
- Working from design packs and site documentation to deliver against spec
- Proven competence in copper network installation (structured cabling, CAT6/RJ45)
- CSCS card or equivalent.
- Working at Heights trained
- Able to read a Fluke tester and produce accurate as-built drawings
- Comfortable working in occupied residential environments — professional manner essential
- Own tools; own van preferred (company fleet vehicle available if needed)
