Service Technician Location South East England Salary Up to £45000 The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join a busy and professional automotive workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician who is passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Working as part of a supportive Aftersales team, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard. Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and accurately. Follow manufacturer and workshop procedures at all times. Support workshop productivity and help maximise efficiency. Liaise with customers when required, providing professional technical guidance. Assist and support less experienced technicians. Attend training programmes to maintain and develop technical skills. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Ensure all health and safety, environmental and COSHH regulations are followed. Contribute positively to the wider workshop and dealership team. What We're Looking For Essential Full UK driving licence. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desirable Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Automotive Technician. Recognised automotive qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent). MOT Tester qualification. Experience working within a franchised dealership environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability. Proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Personal Attributes Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Well organised and able to prioritise workloads. Adaptable and responsive to changing business demands.
