Pro Group Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrician / Fire Alarm Engineer for a long-term contract in Leeds.

Our client has secured a large ongoing FRA contract covering a portfolio of LCC council buildings across Leeds, with work expected to continue for potentially up to 2 years.

This would suit a Fire Alarm Engineer with a strong electrical background who is comfortable working independently across multiple properties.

You will be carrying out a mixture of fire alarm and electrical works, including:

• Replacing smoke and heat detectors.
• Working across multiple council properties as part of the FRA contract.
• Installing new fire alarm systems within converted buildings.
• Installing distribution boards, main switches and multiple sensors.
• Carrying out associated electrical works, testing and inspection.
• Travelling between properties across Leeds each day.
• Working to an appointment-based schedule.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
• Good electrical knowledge and experience carrying out additional electrical works.
• ECS Card.
• 18th Edition.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own vehicle - essential due to travelling between properties.
• Membership of a competency scheme to certify works - desirable, not essential.
